As with video, audio clips can also be given a transition. The function of the audio transition is to make a smooth transfer to the transfer audio clip. Here are the steps to make the transition to the audio clip:
1. Arrange a fruit that has a audio video clip in the Timeline window.
2. Then set a longer clip but for its location overlaps with the first clip to give time to the audio transitions.
3. Open the Effects tab in the Project Window, then expand choices Transition and Audio Crossfade.
4. After that, choose the audio transition effects Constant Gain, then drag and drop into the area of overlap in the Audio Track.
5. Then we can make the effect of the Effect Controls tab in the Monitor Window.
Audio transition technique is often called by the name Split Edit, a method for cutting an audio clip, so the sound of the clip appear first instead of video (commonly known as J-cut) or the sound of the first clip continues to appear in the second clip (commonly known as L-cut).
