IPA: air pollution


AIR POLLUTION
Pollution / air pollution can be caused by pollutants from natural sources or human activity.
Air pollution can be divided into 2, namely:
1. primary pollutants
Directly caused the primary pollutants from sources of air pollution, contohya carbon monoxide (CO) and sulfur dioxide (SO2)
2. secondary pollutants
Secondary pollutants formed from atmospheric reactions of primary pollutants in the atmosphere, such as sulfur trioxide (SO3) and ozone (O5)
Pollutants in the air
There are several groups of pollutants / main pollution in the air is as follows.
- Particulate matter
- Nitrogen Oxides
- Sulfur Oxides
- Carbon Oxide
- Hydrocarbons
- Ozone
- Sound
B. Sources of air pollution
Air pollution can occur outdoors (outdoor pollution) and

inside (indoor pollution). Examples of sources of air pollution outside is, volcanic eruptions, forest fires, burning of fossil fuels (especially coal) industry (especially the chemical industry, metal, and paper industries) as well as a vehicle fuel combustion
Sources of air pollution
Examples of sources of air pollution in the room is the raw building materials, cleaning compounds, smoke, gas stoves fireplaces and kerosene stoves, as well as body care products and clothing
